Wallbarn is a manufacturer and distributor of specialist materials for structural waterproofing, podium decks, flat roofs, terraces and landscape areas. They produce solutions for rooftop living.
Wallbarn grows and produces a range of green roof solutions, including M-Tray®, the award winning modular green roof system. This pre-grown, fully mature extensive green roof is supplied in small, easy to handle module trays. This makes them ideal for retrofit projects, areas which are hard to access and where future inspection of the subdeck may be desired.
Wallbarn supplies the largest range of pedestals to support for tiles, paving and decking in UK.
This includes injection moulded plastic pedestals from fixed height ultra-low height at 5mm, through the range of adjustable height pedestals with threaded stems to allow millimetre precise height adjustment from 25mm up to over 1 metre in height.
The designs have been developed to hold paving slabs / tiles, decking joists and aluminium rails which form part of Wallbarn’s comprehensive substructure system for paving and decking projects.
These pedestals have high weight tolerance and spread the weight effectively across the deck area and provide the basis for a large range of rooftop and ground level landscaping projects; for premium quality, luxurious schemes.
Also designed, developed and produced by Wallbarn are a range of CLASS A Decking & Paving pedestals which comply fully with the latest fire safety rules and regulations.
These steel pedestals form part of the comprehensive Class A substructure system, to support fire rated paving and decking systems; again, to meet the latest fire regulations and rules.
These complete systems incorporate metal adjustable pedestals, aluminium joists in varying sizes and lengths with choices in Ceramic / porcelain, Cement Fibre or Aluminium Deckboards and ensure fire rated specifications are met.
Deckboards made from WPC composite and natural wood including eco-friendly Thermo Bamboo, a truly sustainable decking solution.
Protection layers for waterproofing, sheet drainage membranes, surface drainage channels and roof drainage outlet protectors & sleeves, vents and collars are also available.
Nonwoven geotextile fabrics for stabilisation, filtration, erosion control and protection including in roofing and waterproofing applications are also available. Wallbarn can produce geotextile in roll sizes up t 6 metres wide.

Next day delivery service available
Wallbarn offers a next day delivery service on pedestals and other stock products for orders receievd before 12.00. We contract with a number of fleet delivery companies nationwide and we offer a numbe rof service options, including timed deliveries and FORS silver where required.
Same day delivery service for London and Home Counties
On some occasions Wallbarn can pack stock onto vehicles from its Croydon, South London warehouse and deliver on same day, subject to location range.

M-Tray modular green roof system
Modular extensive green roof system. All necessary elements required for an extensive green roof are pre-grown in small, easy to carry module trays. This system is physically fire tested and achieves B Roof t(4). A mix of different sedum species allows for a comprehensive green cover all year and a variety of flowers and structures.
They are an easy to fit, easy to lift fully established green roof solution which future proofs construction projects.

Mega Balance adjustable height plastic pedestals are the ultimate one-stop solution for a wide variety of external flooring applications. They are ideal to support paving, decking, or the Wallbarn integrated Rail System.
With an outstanding weight tolerance and a huge height range from 25mm to 1025mm, Mega Balance offers unrivalled flexibility, streamlining specification and making installation faster and easier.
MetaPad EX Class A non-combustible paving pedestal
MetalPad EX is a Class A fire rated, non-combustible adjustable height paving pedestal made from steel.
It is covered with special Zintec 200 anti corrosion coating to create a proper weather-proof external product.
It has exceptional weight tolerance, withstanding loads of over 5 tonnes per unit. The base of the pedestal measures 100mm in diameter, with an optional spreader plate available to extend the base to 190mm, making it ideal for vulnerable sub-floors.
Exadeck non-combustible comprehensive decking and substructure system
The ExaDeck system combines the double-rectified Class A porcelain ceramic boards with Wallbarn’s non-combustible metalic substructure.
Exadeck porcelain ceramic decking boards are engineered for exceptional durability, performance, and sustainability. Manufactured using recycled materials, the boards are themselves fully recyclable, making ExaDeck an environmentally responsible solution. They come in a range of colours and have exceptional scratch, slip and frost resistance.
The boards are fixed to a high-strength aluminium rail substructure. The rails are available in a range of heights and are designed to hold the boards securely via Wallbarn's specially designed W Clip fixings. The rails are secured to Class A steel adjustable pedestals which are covered in Zintec 200 anti corrosion coating, so are therefore suited to external applications.
The whole system is a beautiful, super strong and stable decking system which is built to last. Whether the project demands fire safety, elegance, or long-term resilience, ExaDeck delivers on all fronts.
