About
Ravatherm XPS X products are manufactured and distributed from King’s Lynn in Norfolk, where Ravago Building Solutions began making the UK’s first ever range of XPS insulation products over 65 years ago.
Since pioneering the use of XPS in the UK, Ravago has continued to be a leading innovator in XPS insulation technology. Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA has the lowest thermal conductivity of any UK manufactured XPS board accompanied with a BBA certificate. Ravago has a series of UK firsts:
First to introduce XPS boards with a CO2 blowing agent
First to introduce XPS boards with infra-red blockers
First to produce XPS boards with an HFO blowing agent

Ravago Building Solutions manufacture a range of XPS insulation boards suitable for use within warm inverted, green and blue roof applications. We also supply a water flow reducing layer (WFRL) that should be used in conjunction with these XPS insulation boards to provide the best possible performance along with insulated upstand boards to reduce thermal bridging at the roof edge.

Ravatherm XPS X 300 SL
Ravatherm XPS X 300 SL is an XPS thermal insulation board for use on inverted flat roofs, green, brown and blue roofs. It has a declared thermal conductivity of 0.030 W/m.K for thicknesses up to and including 120mm, and 0.031 W/m.K for thicknesses above this.
Available in thicknesses from 50mm up to 200mm.
300kPa compressive strength (according to EN 826)
130kPa compressive creep (2% deformation after 50 years according to EN 1606)
Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL
The lowest thermal conductivity of any UK manufactured XPS board accompanied with a BBA certificate.
Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL is an XPS thermal insulation board for use on inverted flat roofs, green, brown and blue roofs. It has a declared thermal conductivity of 0.027 W/m.K.
Available in thicknesses of 70mm, 80mm, 105mm, 130mm, 145mm, 175mm, and 205mm.

Ravatherm XPS X MK
Ravatherm XPS X MK is a water flow reducing layer (WFRL) used in conjunction with Ravatherm XPS X 300 SL & Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL.
A WFRL is a critical component of an inverted flat roof, minimising heat loss due to the rainwater cooling effect. This product is a polyethylene geotextile.
