Radmat BlueRoof systems are designed by our in-house team to achieve the required attenuation volume and/or the required discharge rate, with discharge rates significantly below the greenfield run off rate of 5 litres a second equivalent being achievable.

No special rainwater outlets are required for the Radmat Blue Roof system, our flow control and overflow devices work with any brand of rainwater outlet. We do however recommend the inclusion of a telltale provision as with any temporary or permanent water holding system.

We supply a range of materials including BlueRoof Inspection Chamber, BlueRoof Flow Restrictor, SWG/SWB Blue Roof Geocells and G12 Geotextile Filter Fleece to complement the specified system.

MedO Living Green Roof System utilises established green roofing technologies in a simple and straightforward way. A variety of green roof solutions can be created - from low maintenance sedum matting and wildflower meadows, to landscaped roof gardens with lawns, shrubs and water features. Radmat will design a system specifically to suit your green roofing/ecological requirements.

MedO green roofing systems can transform both new and existing roofs into lush, vibrant, biodiverse environments that protect your roof membrane. Radmat provide pre-grown sedum matting, wildflower seed mixes and more conventional plug plants varieties. Used together with Radmat Waterproofing Systems your green roof will be protected from weather ingress and root disruption.

We supply a range of MedO Drainage/Reservoir boards, Substrates/Growing Medium, Extensive/Intensive and Biodiverse Planting and EdgPro Roof Trims to complement the specified system.

Designed to accommodate a 1 in 100-year storm event plus 40% climate change factor a Radmat Blue Roof system can be integrated within Radmat new build or refurbishment roofing systems and be incorporated in the Radmat System Warranty.  No special rainwater outlets are required for the Radmat Blue Roof system, our flow control and overflow devices work with any brand of rainwater outlet.
 
Radmat’s PermaQuik PQ6100 was the UK’s first waterproofing system BBA Certified for use in Blue Roof applications, enabling the specification of waterproofing, insulation, blue roof and green roof system from a single source.

The decline of many species of wildflower and insects has accelerated with the decrease of natural habitats – the recent reduction in the bee population is said to be one such casualty. Installing a green roof is an ideal opportunity to create conditions for natural wildflower plants and increase biodiversity, as well as protecting and prolonging the life of your roof membrane. Radmat provide pre-grown sedum matting, wildflower seed mixes and more conventional plug plants varieties.

PermaQuik PQ6100 provides the main waterproofing protection to any number of building types. Routinely specified as the preferred roofing solution In Inverted Roof and Zero falls applications, beneath green /blue roof systems, on ground floor plazas and in areas where long term weather tightness is a necessity.

PermaQuik PQ6100 is a one-part, hot applied, seamless rubberised self-healing Hot Melt Monolithic membrane roofing system membrane. Manufactured in the UK from bitumen, natural rubbers, and a blend of polymers PermaQuik PQ6100 combines excellent waterproofing performance with toughness, flexibility, and strong adhesion to a variety of substrates. PermaQuik PQ6100 can be installed with zero falls and is BBA Certified for ‘lifetime of the building’ in protected (inverted) roof application, including green roofs.

SBS modified Reinforced Bitumen Membranes for use as partially bonded, fully bonded or mechanically fixed roof waterproofing on zero falls, flat or pitched roofs. Suitable for refurbishment, new build and green roof applications. EshaFlex membranes are BBA Certified for ‘in excess of 30 years’ and can achieve a BRE Green Guide to Specification A+ ratings. EshaFlex membranes feature Groove Technology®, a patented underside finish that ensures the heat acts only where it is needed, reducing warming of the membrane, increasing melting of the PE foil. In application this means that EshaFlex membranes require up to 45 grams per m² (25%) less gas, reduce CO2 production by up to 168 g/m² reducing installation times by up to 30%.

Flexible unsaturated polyester Liquid Applied Waterproofing Membrane for use in zero falls, pitched and flat roof specifications and on podium decks, balconies and walkways. Suitable for refurbishment, new build and green roof applications.

ParaFlex Overlay Systems provide an economic and quick way of improving the waterproofing of an existing building. They are installed over a suitably prepared existing roof surface, a Radmat Total Care survey is required to assess condition and suitability.

Flexible one component Silane-Terminated Polyether (STP) Liquid Applied Waterproofing Membrane for use in warm, cold, inverted and green roofs applications in flat roof, pitched roof, roof terrace, podium deck, balcony* and walkway* applications including protected zero fall specifications. Suitable for new and refurbishment roofing.

ReadySeal Overlay Systems utilises single component carrier reinforced ReadySeal with an appropriate primer to provide a method of extending the life of an existing bitumen, asphalt, PVC or EPDM single ply or metal roof system. ReadySeal Overlay System can also be used to overcoat some existing cold liquid applied waterproofing with an appropriate primer.

BBA Certified in 2016, the ProTherm VIP Inverted Roof Insulation System has undergone continual development since then, resulting in an elastomeric coated ProTherm Quantum® PLUS+, the most robust and thinnest VIP insulation for inverted roof design. BBA Certified for use in roofs, roof terraces, enclosed terraces over heated space and insulated walkways in an inverted roof construction.

ProTherm Quantum® PLUS+ is not suitable for use in inverted roof applications on specified attachments such as projecting open balconies, projecting enclosed balconies, recessed open balconies or recessed enclosed balconies.

With a BBA Certified ‘Design’ (corrected) lambda value lowered from 0.008 to 0.007 W/mK, ProTherm Quantum® PLUS+ can dramatically reduce the thickness of a finished inverted roof or roof terrace.
