Pritchard & Pritchard (P&P) is one of the UK’s leading green infrastructure specialists, delivering expert design, installation, and long-term maintenance across the full spectrum of green and blue roof systems, living walls and facades, podium gardens, and roof terraces. With our base in Chertsey, Surrey, P&P delivers green infrastructure projects across London, the wider UK, and the Middle East.
Our approach is built on independence and expertise. As a platform-independent contractor, P&P is not tied to any single manufacturer or proprietary system. This means every specification we produce is driven entirely by what is best for the project — whether that involves ZinCo, Garland, Optigreen, Bauder or another leading system. And because all of our work is delivered by our own skilled and trained CSCS-carded teams, clients benefit from consistent quality and single-point accountability from first fix to final handover

Products
Pritchard & Pritchard is a platform-independent green infrastructure contractor, working with the leading systems and manufacturers in the market. Our product knowledge spans all build-up components — from root barriers, drainage and water retention layers, and filter fleeces, through to specialist substrates, vegetation carpets, and biosolar integration products. Every product we specify and install is selected on merit, matched to the specific technical, ecological, and commercial requirements of the project.
Extensive Green Roof Systems
Product 1 — Description Lightweight, low-maintenance extensive green roof build-ups for new build and retrofit applications. Typical specification comprises a root protection layer, combined drainage and water retention element, filter fleece, recycled aggregate substrate (80–150mm), and sedum or wildflower vegetation carpet. Suitable for most commercial and residential roof structures, with loading typically from 80–150 kg/m² saturated.
Biosolar Roof Systems
P&P’s biosolar roof systems combine photovoltaic panels with ecologically engineered biodiverse substrates — a proven solution that outperforms conventional rooftop PV in energy yield while delivering measurable Biodiversity Net Gain. Systems are fully coordinated across green roof design, PV layout, structural interface, and ecological reporting. Available as a complete design-and-install package.
Intensive & Semi-Intensive Green Roofs / Roof Gardens
For projects requiring deeper substrate profiles, amenity planting, or fully landscaped roof environments, P&P designs and installs intensive and semi-intensive systems capable of supporting shrubs, perennials, grasses, and small trees. Full coordination of waterproofing interface, drainage, irrigation, and planting design available as an integrated service.
Podium & Roof Gardens
From amenity terraces to complex multi-level podium landscapes, P&P designs and installs intensive planted environments that balance design ambition with technical rigour. Waterproofing interface, structural loading, drainage, and irrigation are all treated as an integrated whole, ensuring long-term performance alongside landscape quality.
