Greenbridge Renewables is a UK commercial solar specialist with particular experience in biosolar, green roof and complex rooftop installations, working with developers, main contractors, roofing specialists, consultants and building owners across the UK. Our core team has been delivering solar projects for nearly two decades, giving us deep practical experience of integrating photovoltaic systems into a wide variety of building types and roofing environments. That includes extensive work on green and biosolar roofs, where successful delivery depends on the solar, roofing, drainage, waterproofing and biodiversity elements being considered together rather than as separate packages.

We are familiar with, and accredited across, leading roofing systems and manufacturers including Bauder, Sika and Axter, allowing us to work effectively within established roof specifications and alongside specialist roofing contractors. This is particularly important on larger commercial and construction projects, where protecting roof warranties, sequencing works correctly and coordinating interfaces between trades are critical to long-term performance.

Our teams are used to operating as part of wider construction programmes and working closely with main contractors, M&E consultants, roofing subcontractors, structural engineers and other specialist trades. We understand that on complex buildings, solar is rarely an isolated package. It has to integrate properly with the roof build-up, structure, access strategy, electrical infrastructure and long-term maintenance plan.

Alongside biosolar and green roof projects, Greenbridge delivers commercial rooftop PV, tall-building and complex-roof installations, battery storage and EV charging solutions. Our approach is always to combine strong technical delivery with practical construction knowledge and long-term asset performance. We also provide ongoing maintenance services for commercial solar installations, including inspections, diagnostics, remedial works, monitoring and technical support. Through specialist partners, we can also provide professional solar-panel cleaning for large and difficult-to-access installations.

For us, biosolar is about more than simply placing PV above a green roof. Done properly, it is an opportunity to make much better use of valuable roof space: generating renewable electricity while supporting biodiversity, habitat creation, stormwater management and more resilient urban environments.
