Our Solar PV systems utilise high power output Crystalline PV panels with ballasted or mechanically anchored mounting systems that secure performance against wind load. Mechanically anchored mounting systems are installed with our universal fixing point (UFP), that is fully compatible with Axter bitumen and single-ply roof waterproofing systems.

The Solar PV system range is extremely versatile and can be used across all support structures, subject to weight load.

1. Brief and Assign Project Team
During the initial brief (in-office or on-site), we will work with you to understand the key drivers and design criteria of the project. You will be assigned your own team of a Technical Sales Manager, Technical Admin, Designer and QA Manager.

2. Product Selection
Our team will help you to select the best flat roofing system for the right application, including bitumen/single-ply membranes and liquid resins. You can get the option to upgrade and reimagine the roof with multi-functional Green, Blue or Solar PV finishes.

3. Design & Specification
Our design team supports you with design and technical calculations, U-Value calculations, tapered insulation design; wind loading calculations; rainwater drainage calculations.

4. Approved Installation
Our accredited installers across the UK receive specialist upskilling in Axter waterproofing systems – backed by a comprehensive guarantee.

5. On-Site Quality Control
Our QA Managers carry out on-site quality assurance checks on a two-weekly basis. With these checks we ensure that the system is being installed in line with best practice and conforms to industry standards and the Building Regulations.

6. Guarantee and Maintenance
Once the QA manager has signed off on the project, we can offer comprehensive & industry leading insurance backed guarantees of up to 35 years on our systems.

Axter runs a series of popular and technically informative RIBA approved CPD seminars. Our seminars cover a wide variety of flat roofing topics including those listed within the RIBA mandatory core curriculum. Our green roof systems are designed and engineered to accommodate the most varied ecological and environmental requirements. We encourage the use of flowering plants that are packed with nectar and pollen so that we provide a rich, biodiverse mix for pollinating insects, we work to the guidelines set out by the RHS Plants for Pollinators.

The Aquamodul® blue roof system is an innovative, sustainable drainage method specifically designed to attenuate and manage stormwater on flat roofs.

Aquamodul® blue roofs can be used beneath a multitude of different surface finishes including living roofs, solar PV and multi-functional mixed amenity finishes, or combinations of them all.

Our Biosolar PV System uses the living roof to ballast the solar array, negating the need for any penetration or additional ballast. This product range is compatible with the Cityflor® waterproofing product range and with most deck types, subject to weight load.

Cityflor warm roof living roof systems are robust SBS polymer-modified bitumen membranes for use in extensive and intensive green, biodiverse brown and modular green roofs, as well as protected terrace, podium and balcony applications.

The anti-root technology has proven long-term resistance to root penetration, fertilisers and insecticides and is specifically designed to withstand the application of intensive landscaping finishes during and post construction.
