About GRO

We are a not-for-profit body run by experts who volunteer their time to raise awareness of green roof technologies and improve industry standards. We’ve been recognised by the House of Commons Environmental Committee, and with the support of our members, we continue to influence government policy for a more sustainable built environment.

Membership fees directly support our mission to raise standards and grow the industry. By joining GRO, you’re not only accessing valuable benefits for your own business but also helping to strengthen the voice of the green roof sector as a whole. Together, our members ensure these technologies continue to grow in visibility, quality and impact.
